Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 18, 2026

This policy explains what information PropSight collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to the PropSight website, mobile applications, and related services (together, the "Service").

Current status: today, the PropSight website is a marketing website only. It does not have user accounts, subscriptions, or payments, and it does not use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers. Sections below that describe accounts, subscriptions, and analytics explain how the PropSight mobile app is expected to work once it launches — they are forward-looking and don't describe the website as it exists today. We'll update this policy as those features actually ship.

01Overview

PropSight ("we," "us," or "our") is a sports research and analytics platform. We are not a sportsbook and we do not process wagers, so we never collect betting account balances, wager histories from your sportsbook accounts, or payment details for gambling of any kind.

The short version: this website does not currently collect analytics or use tracking cookies, we don't sell your personal information, and you can reach us any time at the address in Section 14.

02Information We Collect

Information you give us

  • Account information. When you register with Sign in with Apple, we receive the identifier Apple shares with us and, if you choose to share it, your name and email (or Apple's private relay address). When you register with email, we collect that email address and your chosen credentials.
  • Support messages. If you contact us, we receive whatever you include in your message.
  • Preferences. Settings you choose in the app, such as favorite sports, saved picks, and notification preferences.

Information collected automatically

  • Device information. Device model, operating system version, app version, language, time zone, and general region (derived from IP address).
  • Usage information. Which screens and features you use, session length, crashes, and performance data.
  • Approximate location. We may infer your general location from your IP address (for example, to comply with regional requirements). We do not collect precise GPS location.

Subscription information

  • Purchases. Subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store, Google Play, or our payment processor. We receive transaction records (plan, price, status, renewal dates) but we never see or store your full card number.

03How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including your account and subscription.
  • Send you service communications, such as receipts, renewal notices, and important updates.
  • Understand how the Service is used so we can fix problems and improve features.
  • Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security issues.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your personal information to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

04Cookies & Analytics

This website does not currently use cookies, advertising trackers, or analytics of any kind. We don't set cookies, use localStorage or similar client-side tracking, or run any analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts on the website today.

The one external request this website makes is to Google Fonts, to load the Inter typeface used throughout the site. That request goes directly from your browser to Google's servers and, like any web request, includes your IP address. Google's handling of that request is governed by Google's privacy policy; we do not receive or store that information ourselves. You can block this request through your browser's font, script, or tracker-blocking settings, and the site remains fully readable with a fallback system font if you do.

If we add cookies, analytics, or advertising technology to this website in the future, we will disclose it here before doing so.

Separately, once the PropSight mobile app launches, it is expected to use analytics and crash-reporting tools to understand app performance — see Section 2 for the device and usage information those tools would receive. That is forward-looking and does not describe the current website. Once the app is live, you will be able to limit app-level tracking through your device settings (for example, iOS App Tracking Transparency and advertising-identifier controls).

05When We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

  • Service providers that help us operate — hosting, analytics, crash reporting, email delivery, customer support, and payment processing — under contracts that limit how they may use it.
  • App platforms (Apple, Google) as needed to manage purchases and subscriptions you make through them.
  • Legal authorities when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of PropSight, our users, or the public.
  • A successor entity if we're involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — we'll notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

06Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy: account data for as long as your account exists; transaction records for as long as tax and accounting rules require; analytics data in aggregated or de-identified form where possible.

When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we're legally required to keep it.

07Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, though — we can't guarantee absolute security, and you use the Service at your own risk. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

08Your Choices

  • Access & update. You can view and update account information in the app, or ask us for a copy of your data.
  • Delete. You can delete your account in the app or by contacting us; see Section 6 for what happens next.
  • Marketing emails. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. Service emails (like receipts) continue while you have an account.
  • Cookies & tracking. See Section 4 for browser and device controls.

09California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose, and to request a copy.
  • Delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined by the CPRA.
  • Limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CPRA.
  • Non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 14. We will verify your request using the email associated with your account. You may use an authorized agent, in which case we may ask for proof of authorization. We do not knowingly retain personal information of California residents beyond the purposes and periods described in this policy.

10European Privacy Rights (GDPR/UK GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data on these legal bases:

  • Contract — to provide the Service you signed up for (account, subscription).
  • Legitimate interests — to secure and improve the Service, in ways you'd reasonably expect and that don't override your rights.
  • Consent — for optional things like marketing emails and non-essential cookies; you can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation — where processing is required by law.

You also have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or erase your personal data.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Receive your data in a portable format.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 14.

11Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 17 (or the higher minimum age your jurisdiction applies to content of this nature). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

12International Transfers

We are based in the United States, and the information we collect is processed in the U.S. and in other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as standard contractual clauses. By using the Service, you understand your information may be processed outside your home country.

13Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and take reasonable steps to notify you — through the app, by email, or with a notice on our website — before the changes take effect.
